Dr. Gale Blakely, MD, obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Stanford University and a medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

She attended a residency in Occupational Medicine at UT Houston School of Public Health. She is board-certified in Occupational Medicine, a subspecialty of Preventative Medicine.

She was associated with the Milby Clinic between 1981 and 2015, as Medical Director and owner, since 1991. She is a member of the Texas Medical Association and Alpha Omega Alpha, Honor Medical Society.

She has special experience in Travel and Maritime Medicine, as well as Toxicology. She is a certified Medical Examiner for Commercial Drivers and a USCIS civil surgeon.
